Form I-914: Application for T Nonimmigrant Status

Form I-914 is the application for T nonimmigrant status, available to victims of a severe form of trafficking in persons who are physically present in the U.S. because of trafficking and cooperate with reasonable requests from law enforcement. T status is a path to a green card after three years.

What Form I-914 Is

Form I-914 is the T-visa application. T status is available to victims of trafficking (labor or sex) who are in the U.S. on account of that trafficking and are cooperating with reasonable requests from law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution.

The visa is initially valid for four years. After three years in T status (or when the investigation ends, whichever comes first), holders can apply for lawful permanent residence via Form I-485.
